the font on the box, etc that says Guild Wars is a custom font made explicitly for the game and is owned by ANet/NCSoft, you can't DL it anywhere so far as I know.

Close - thats just a logo. You can't do anything with the individual letters like you could if it was a font.

Savio said it was Friz Quadrata in this thread. A quick Google proved that for me, but I doubt you like the price the resulting links ask for the font.

ArenaNet said on their fansite page that the font used was a custom and owned by them, and that it wasn't available to others.

i checked the downloads section and couldn't find it, maybe it's only avaible to your forum members. anyways i hope that you did a good job on it because i'd love to be able to use it on my own alliance's forums

Even identifying the font they use on the website would be nice (they use Java to set it I think).
